The Downtown Players are musicians that like to mix and match. The core trio are Tony Constas on guitar and vocals, Paul Peterson on horns, and Dale Ellenberg on drums.
Each show is a little bit different. Every show features invited musicians: guitarists, bassists, keyboard players and vocalists. Each musician brings a different set of songs and genres to the mix.

The music is primarily blues-based but the band can rock-out and swing. The music is a blend of original tunes and covers. The band takes old and new tunes and instills them with its signature style - breathing life into the music.
